The Homie Front Community Network

The Homie Front is a network of community resources instigating humane engagement with society through education and art. We are looking for friends; educators, artists, schools, districts, and communities with whom we can build long term relationships of mutual support and care. We serve hard-to-access communities experiencing scarcity with a focus on tribal, rural, and urban environments. Our model utilizes substitute teaching as a platform for ongoing artistic residencies.

Repeated and regular visits to partner communities will allow us to establish connections founded on trust, which is respect enacted overtime. With continued interest, we seek to host public art events, community open mics, and open sharings of our work in local schools with/for the people of those places.

Our long term goal is to establish a nationwide cohort of artists, educators, and community place makers dedicated to using art as a strategic tool in the fields of education and community concordance.
